The Scheme is a joint initiative of the Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC) and Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ).
The Scheme is administered by QCEC on behalf of all non-state schools and is funded by the Queensland Government.
The NGSTAS consists of two programs available to Queensland residents only:
Bus Fare Assistance Program (BFAP)
Students with Disabilities (SWD) Transport Assistance Program
PLEASE NOTE:
If you only have one child eligible for NGSTAS and that child is eligible under both programs, please only apply for SWD assistance.
If you have several children in your family and some are eligible under both programs, you may wish to contact us before applying so we can help determine which program/s (BFAP and/or SWD) best suits your family.
If parents are unable to apply online, please contact your child's School for assistance.
